Earlier this year, about New Year sort of time, I resolved to keep certain promises, and to improve my life. I based these on Maslow's Hierarchy of Need and I kind of forgot about them, but being the GQMF I am, I have probably STILL aced them, so let's have a look....

physiological :

Resolution 1 - Breathe more and don't take up smoking

Check! I have not taken up smoking and definitely breathe at least 20 percent more than I did before

Resolution 2 : Drink less bitter

Let's move on...

Resolution 3 : Eat less cheese

These ones aren't really that important

Resolution 4 : Paint my ceiling and buy a new bed

Again, not that important, and there's a recession on anyway. Beds cost money.

Resolution 5 : Read more erotic fan fiction

Checkity Check Check! Biiiig check there.

Safety and Security

Resolution 6 : Shield your pin number

No, I haven't been doing this. I don't do what MACHINES tell me. Unless it's 'Please take your money and wait for your card." I do that. Although this year for the first time EVER IN MY LIFE I left money in a cash machine, so there you go.

Love and belongingness

Resolution 7 : Get three new friends

I have SO done this! I have met @johnintheuk who is from Twitter, and I met someone called Danny at a convention, and he has CURLY HAIR and I have so few friends with curly hair he should count for two. But I don't need him to because I have loads of other new friends, so that's that.

Self-esteem

Resolution 8 : Improve self-esteem rating from 9/10 to 10/10.

This isn't fair because it went down to minus 2 and I had to get it all the way back up again. This happened when Anton Yelchin grabbed my ass in this picture



Self-actualisation

Resolution 9 : Achieve Self-Actualisation
